All Deals Aren’t the Right Deals.

Client was a signed national recording act. Record label was a division of the Majors. Client no longer desired to be signed with record label. T I attorney analyzed recording agreement. Identifying a gap in the recording agreement, T I attorney successfully navigated artist-client to a non-penalizing exit.

Educating the Songwriter.

Songwriter-client earned attention from publisher through client’s efforts such as notable performances and music features on primetime television. Publisher was a division of an internationally recognized independent music group. Client desired to sign but desired education on the terms and understanding leveraging points. Thomas Ingram supported the client through providing education on deal terms and identifying leveraging opportunities. The matter concluded with client feeling Thomas Ingram “guid[ed] me through often tedious contract interpretation and negotiation” and client receiving a greater financial return.

Bring’em Out Bring’em Out.

Client is a major presenter that presents national acts. Client desired to present a budding national act. National act was a nationally recognized talent with lead role on a premium television network series. Thomas Ingram managed negotiations between client and national act navigating sponsor considerations, financing, and other considerations. Deal resulted in national act headlining presentation of client.
