Tonya forges solutions. With a career rooted in labor law and having served as a subject-matter expert, she has fervently advocated for employment rights landing her to argue before an Ohio appellate court. Tonya’s legal experience spans from clerkships in Big Law and the City of Columbus to established tenures as consultant for and general counsel to labor organizations, including one of the largest of its kind in Ohio representing over 9,000 members in over 400 bargaining units. Tonya’s reach extends across the State of Ohio.  

Tonya brings seasoned experiences in transactions and advocacy. From the seat of transactions, Tonya has successfully managed and advised on employer-employee, employment, and policy matters, managed and negotiated numerous collective bargaining agreements and employment agreements, developed public relations programs and policies, and led and supported organizing activities. From the seat of advocacy, she has supported, managed, and led extensive e-discovery, investigations, political advocacy with locals at the local, state and national levels, arbitration, litigation, and appellate advocacy.

With keenness and boldness, Tonya is leveraging her experiences and knowledge to support the client-partners of Thomas Ingram in cross-practice responsibilities in order to continue with successful transaction completion, fortified advocacy positioning, and real-world-based creative solutioning.
